Results 2015 Survey
For the second year in a row, IBM has been named the world’s most LGBT-inclusive (Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender) employer by Workplace Pride Foundation’ Global Benchmark. BNP Paribas of France and Shell of the Netherlands scored 2nd and 3rd place respectively. The announcement is the result of the Foundation’s 2015 Global Benchmark survey in which twenty-one major employers were scored for their LGBT workplace inclusion policies and practices around the world. Together, these organizations represent 2.4 million employees in over 100 countries worldwide.

Organizations taking part in the Global Benchmark survey for the 2nd year scored an average of 10.25% higher than last year on creating LGBT-inclusive policies and practices. Below is an overview of the top improvers and the percentage of improvement over 2014.

Results 2014 Survey
IBM has been named the most LGBT-inclusive (Lesbian,Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) employer in the world in the Workplace Pride 2014 Global Benchmark Survey Results. Nineteen major employers representing over 1.9 million employees in over 96 countries worldwide took part in the survey. Employers were scored for their LGBT workplace inclusion policies and practices around the world based upon their own input to the survey.
Participants scored reasonably well on creating LGBT-inclusive policies and communication. However, actual support for implementation, the measuring of progress and the involvement with LGBT suppliers and clients leaves much to be desired.
Top 5 employers as scored against the 100% of the Global Benchmark include:
1. IBM (USA): 86%
2. DOW Chemical (USA): 80%
3. BNP Paribas (France): 76%
4. Shell (Netherlands): 73%
5. Cisco Systems (USA): 67%
